I find that in today’s day and age, people are quick to complain and the old-fashioned compliment of service has fallen to the wayside. I want to let you know that Curtis Rasmussen of the Tampa AAMCO (SKJ Transmissions, MV Number 53418) has earned a customer for life. I used to work a block away from the shop, and if I needed work done, he or a staff member would give me a ride and take my car back so I didn’t have to sit around and wait. Then, I got a new job and moved further away; I was left to get my oil changed and other services at a Jiffy Lube nearby my house. That horrible place was concerned with nothing but sales, and always pressured me into getting services that were never wanted and definitely not proven to be required. Finally, I couldn’t take it any longer and knew that it would be worth my time to go back to Curtis at Aamco. He is beyond honest, kind, and doesn’t try to fast-talk this small blonde lady into paying for unnecessary services. It’s so good to have a car care shop that you can trust will do right by the customer instead of sales. Please do pass along this compliment and have that shop to keep up the great work! I am forever appreciative of what they do.
